Zoals we al in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vixyvideo.com\/nl\/video-marketing-verhoog-conversie-maak-online-video-interactief\">eerdere blogs over interactieve video\u2019s<\/a> aankaartten is de stijging van het aantal bekeken en geuploade video\u2019s op YouTube. Het aantal geuploade video\u2019s per minuut steeg met 40% (!) tussen 2014 en 2019, bleek <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/259477\/hours-of-video-uploaded-to-youtube-every-minute\/\">uit onderzoek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hoe komen deze trends nu samen? Bij recruitment video\u2019s! Wij interviewden video recruitment expert Bram Tierie van Flipbase over het inzetten van video als onderdeel van het recruitmentproces.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<section id=section-block-block_601d53c54c3af class=\"section section-block standard-container\"  itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/WebPageElement\" itemprop=\"hasPart\" ><style>@media only screen and ( max-width: 900px ){}<\/style><div class=\"container\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-chef-block-row block-row type-fullwidth\">\n<div id=content-block-block_601d54544c3b0 class=\"block column content-block \" itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/WebPageElement\" itemprop=\"hasPart\"><div class=\"inner-wrapper\"><h2 class=\"block-title h2 black-color\">Wat zijn recruitment video\u2019s precies?<\/h2><div itemprop=\"text\" class=\"content-wrapper\" ><p>Bij \u2018recruitment video\u2019s\u2019 kun je denken aan video\u2019s die gemaakt zijn door de sollicitanten of juist het bedrijf. In het eerste geval worden recruitment video\u2019s dan gebruikt als \u2018candidate screening\u2019; de sollicitanten of kandidaten maken video\u2019s waarin zij zichzelf voorstellen, als een soort innovatieve vorm van een motivatiebrief. Wij focussen vandaag op de tweede vorm, namelijk video vanuit het bedrijf om je cultuur te branden, als onderdeel van employer branding.<\/p>\n<p>Hierbij moet je denken aan een video waarin een bedrijf zich voorstelt. Maar het doel gaat veel verder dan een simpele kennismaking of introductie, want bij dit soort video\u2019s laat het bedrijf duidelijk zien waar de kandidaat komt te werken. Met een simpele \u201cdit is wie we zijn en wat we doen\u201d kom je er als bedrijf dus niet. Kandidaten willen bijvoorbeeld zien met wie ze komen te werken, welke cultuur er heerst en welke waarden het bedrijf heeft. Ze willen weten wat werken bij het bedrijf inhoudt buiten het uitvoeren van de taken die bij de vacature vermeld staan. Dit heet culture branding en is onderdeel van employer branding, waar we het net over hadden. Kortom: bij een recruitment video geef je als bedrijf een kijkje in de keuken, zodat de kandidaat goed weet waar hij of zij komt te werken. Daarom is video recruitment relevant voor elke branche, want welke sollicitant wil er nou niet weten waar hij of zij komt te werken voorafgaand aan het solliciteren?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<section id=section-block-block_601d57404c3b1 class=\"section section-block standard-container\"  itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/WebPageElement\" itemprop=\"hasPart\" ><style>@media only screen and ( max-width: 900px ){}<\/style><div class=\"container\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-chef-block-row block-row type-fullwidth\">\n<div id=content-block-block_601d58784c3b2 class=\"block column content-block \" itemscope itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/WebPageElement\" itemprop=\"hasPart\"><div class=\"inner-wrapper\"><h3 class=\"block-title h3 black-color\">Wat zijn de voordelen van recruitment video\u2019s?<\/h3><div itemprop=\"text\" class=\"content-wrapper\" ><p>Recruitment video\u2019s bieden voordelen voor zowel de sollicitant als het bedrijf. Drie redenen waarom bedrijven video in moeten zetten als onderdeel van het recruitmentproces:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Het bedrijf heeft meer ruimte voor creativiteit. <\/strong>Hoe goed copywriters ook zijn, de bedrijfscultuur is lastig vast te leggen in een vacaturetekst. Een verzameling woorden zegt niks over of de kandidaat bij het bedrijf past. Met video kun je als bedrijf n\u00e9t dat stapje extra zetten en beter inzicht geven in het bedrijf.<\/li>\n<li><strong>De kandidaten kunnen de culture fit beter inschatten. <\/strong>Een recruitment video geeft de kandidaat de gelegenheid om de bedrijfscultuur in te zien en te bepalen of er sprake is van een \u2018culture fit\u2019. Het is voor de kandidaat veel fijner om dit (al) vanaf de comfortabele bank thuis te doen met de kat op schoot dan (pas) tijdens de proefperiode.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kandidaten blijven zitten na hun proefmaand. <\/strong>Het uiteindelijke doel van zo\u2019n creatieve video en culture fit is dat de kandidaten niet voor verrassingen komen te staan en op hun eerste werkdag in een omgeving komen waar ze horen. Daardoor lopen kandidaten niet weg tijdens hun proefperiode en vervullen ze succesvol de vacature. We zien vaak dat marketingafdelingen de commerci\u00eble insteek maar moeilijk los kunnen laten. Ook zorgt de nieuwigheid ervoor dat mensen zich niet comfortabel voelen. Bij de skills kunnen we je niet helpen, maar we hebben wel een aantal tips op een rijtje gezet om je op weg te helpen met het maken van recruitmentvideo\u2019s.<\/p>\n<h3>Tips voor het maken van een recruitment video, de do&#8217;s:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Gebruik je smartphone in plaats van een professionele camera.<\/strong> Dit maakt de video meteen een stuk authentieker en geloofwaardiger. Een bijkomend voordeel is dat het voor de personen binnen het bedrijf meteen een stuk laagdrempeliger en minder eng is. Een filmpje maken met het toestel waar je al talloze selfies mee hebt gemaakt is een stuk minder spannend dan een cameraploeg.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Toon de \u00e9chte werknemers, geen acteurs. <\/strong>Natuurlijk ziet je video er veel professioneler uit als je mensen ervoor inhuurt. Die zullen een stuk minder zenuwachtig overkomen en minder \u201cehm\u201d zeggen. Maar dat is niet waar het om draait bij video recruitment. Kandidaten willen een goed beeld krijgen van het bedrijf waar ze komen werken en dat lukt niet wanneer je mensen toont die er niet echt werken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Laat de werknemers hun eigen manier toepassen.<\/strong> Vind Saskia van de marketing het fijner om door iemand gefilmd te worden, terwijl Jesse van sales zichzelf het liefst filmt met de selfie camera? Helemaal prima. Deze afwisseling maakt het weer een stuk authentieker en zo voelen de werknemers zich ook meer op hun gemak. Wat hierbij ook helpt is het beantwoorden van een specifieke vraag. Dat geeft de werknemer meer houvast en een duidelijke richting, wat het ook fijner maakt om naar te kijken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Houd het kort.<\/strong> Gemiddeld kijken mensen 46 seconden naar een video die in een vacature staat. Een video van 7 minuten gaat dus niemand kijken. Houd als richtlijn 30 tot 90 seconden aan. Heeft de werknemer echt meer te vertellen? Maak dan gewoon meerdere video\u2019s. Gescripte video\u2019s dragen hier niet aan bij, spontaniteit wel. Maak dus geen gescripte video\u2019s maar geef de werknemers wat onderwerpen en idee\u00ebn mee en laat hem of haar verder vrij in de invulling.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Maak geen intro of outro.<\/strong> Een professionele introductie of outro (aan het einde) met prachtige animaties is hartstikke mooi, maar het werkt niet bij recruitment video\u2019s. Op social media spreekt het simpelweg niet aan en bij de vacaturetekst is het niet nodig, omdat de kandidaat dan al op jouw website zit. Door het toevoegen van een simpele call-to-action knop kun je sollicitanten rechtstreeks in de video laten solliciteren.
